Quaint Kensington Family Photo Session

When it comes to choosing locations in London for a family photo session, few sing to my heart like the scenery in my own neighborhood–the cobblestone streets and quaint back roads of Kensington. You can walk around in the heart of the city but it feels like a village and so much of the historic character has been perfectly preserved–add to that beautiful light reflected off of the white townhouse architecture and it’s a complete photographer’s dream. Given that this adorable family lives in the neighborhood, it was only fitting to photograph their family photo session in this same picturesque setting. These two little boys were so well behaved and did such a good job listening, I was left wondering about mom’s secret tricks (and can I have some for my own two little ones please)??? I love the way these images subtly exude the quaint character of London without any iconic scenery. And it was lovely to be able to let the children run and play in the cobblestone streets by choosing areas that were completely free of traffic and cars. Which other city can you do this? Ps I love London! Can you tell?? And how insanely cute is this family???
