Newborn Photo Session in Chelsea – London Newborn Photographer

As my own little ones continue to grow faster than I could ever have imagined and the baby stage seems to be a dream/blur of the past, I am especially appreciative of the beauty in capturing fleeting moments in my client’s lives. When you are in the thick of it, it’s hard to realize how quickly these moment come and go, and unfortunately even the moments you  try to grasp onto forever seem to fade along with time.  Earlier this spring I was asked to photograph a beautiful newborn girl and her loving family in their Chelsea home.  While my style for newborn portraiture tends to take a more lifestyle approach (you can read more about that here), this sleepy little lady was the perfect candidate for some posed newborn portraits as well. My goal was to capture all of the fleeting little details of the newborn stage and first interactions of the family together and this chubby, perfect little newborn made the perfect subject. There were so many lovely details from the gorgeous, bright nursery  to the beautiful handmade dress worn by the baby’s mother, when she was a baby herself. It makes me so happy to know that years down the road this family will have such beautiful images to remember the fleeting moments of their daughters newborn days. Not only a wonderful gift for mom, but for baby herself! I’m looking forward to seeing more of these little ones as they grow!!! Enjoy!
