Yesterday afternoon I had the pleasure of photographing another of Oliver’s little friends during one of our play dates. This sweet little girl recently started taking ballet class and wanted to show us her beautiful ballerina “costume” and some of her newest dance moves (including being a butterfly and a swan). I happened to have my camera with me and couldn’t resist pulling it out for a few toddler portraits–she was just too sweet!
I decided to use the the first image below for this week’s project 52 submission with the theme “Soft”–although I think any of them could have worked! The soft light, the soft colors, her soft step…she was just so graceful and I think she makes the perfect ballerina, don’t you?

I love a little girl and her tutu. Lovely set.
These are just precious. The last one is my favorite!
So very sweet! I love how dainty and soft everything is. She is a precious girl. :)
SO cute! I love the ones by the window, and she is absolutely adorable in that little outfit. I love it, and it makes me wish my daughter wanted to be in dance. :)
She looks like she had a blast. So much fun.
how adorable!
Oh how sweet and adorable!! Lovely images!
Shes so cute! Adorable images.
Is there a chance you would let me use this picture for a ladies’ event at our church? The title of the event is “Dancing on Our Shoulders” and I was hoping to add (by composite) a ballerina to your shot of the pony tailed little girl in the tutu. If you are ok with this I will give you credit on the invitation. Please let me know if you are willing! Thanks.
