Boudoir Maternity Photography in London

So here’s a new one for me guys–boudoir maternity photography! Although most of my maternity photography sessions take place outdoors (with my clients fully clothed ;) ) , for this session the goal was to create images that focused 100% on her pregnancy and her growing body. Our inspiration was rooted in the famous images of Demi Moore’s pregnancy in Vanity Fair, while still staying true to my normal relaxed. light, and playful style. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this beauty more than once now so she’s basically a pro, and we spent a morning in her apartment playing pretty much the equivalent of big girl dress-up. Unbelievably, this maternity session took place when the mom-to-be was two days overdue, and just one day before she actually gave birth. I so wish I looked this amazing when not pregnant! Whoever thinks pregnancy isn’t sexy needs to meet this gorgeous woman! And in case you don’t have reason enough to hate her from these images (kidding!), know that she also has incredible hair, and is extremely funny, sweet, and thoughtful–just a couple of days after our shoot I received an awesome curling iron surprise in the mail (one of her trademark tricks).
